Raymond's COVID Journey: 10/26/20

I am hunkered down outside, where it is I cold and windy, while a bio team disinfects and sanitizes our home. Welcome to the next phase of The Covid journey.

I am cautiously optimistic today. Raymond is improving. His white count numbers are normal! Yippee! The other elevated numbers are still elevated but lower. Yippee! He is on 2 L of oxygen as of this morning. Hallelujah! We’ll see how he tolerates that. After his morning of breakfast, hygiene, doctor visit, he was exhausted on the 2 L but maintained a pulse ox above 90 and needed to rest.

My heart, our hearts are filled with gratitude for your love, prayers and support. Last night our extended families gathered on zoom for Raymond’s cousin, Deacon Pat Valdez, to lead us in a rosary. Raymond surprised us by joining in. He spoke very briefly to thank everyone. Then muted his phone and received this most gracious blessing.

Raymond’s mother, Maria Magdalena led a couple of the decades. At 90 years old, she is the matriarch of this extended family. Thank you all who participated. It was such a sacred moment.

My Souls Awakening family also had a gift for us, from my dear Soulsister, Brenda, who resides on the other side but is very much here. She told my Soulsister,

Sandy Soulsister

, that she is very near to Ray and watching over him. She says those of his loved ones on the other side are laying their hands on his back as he lays on his tummy. She encouraged me to sleep as she and they are watching over him. Especially at night. She gave evidence that was to be confirmed by my Soulsister,

Lynette Setzkorn

. Lynette was not on the zoom. Sandy texted Lynette that Brenda had mentioned dough and biscuits. Lynette at that very moment was having dinner with her family, celebrating a Hindu holiday and were making dough and baking biscuits!

Needless to say, I slept like a baby, knowing that he was in good hands, God’s and all his helpers!! Brenda also said that they and all the angels are doing this all over the world for those with The Covid.

We are so blessed. Keep the prayers coming! They are working and we continue to hold the vision for a complete recovery. I am seeing him on the golf course in beautiful, perfect health. Love you ALL!! We are loving him and loving The Covid away. It cannot exist in its present form when there is such great love for one another.

Raymond asks that you follow CDC guidelines. Stay home except when necessary. Wear your masks. SANITIZE! Love heals. The love of God, however you define it, the love we have for each other. Keep channeling your Divinity with us, with our brothers and sisters all over the world who are affected by The Covid, our heroes, the healthcare workers and hospital staff and to each other. Raymond's COVID Update: 10/25/20

Our Covid Journey Day 14

Raymond is having a better day today. He is able to speak with a little more ease. Still has to take his time but better. His liver enzymes, lactic acid and other numbers (not going to list them all) are down. He still requires 5 liters of oxygen. The goal is to get the need for oxygen below 3. He is having respiratory therapy, is on his tummy unless he’s eating or drinking. That really helps. He also had cupping! Go figure. How did my woowoo stuff get into the mix?

Raymond tells me to be sure I thank you for all the love and prayer you are sending him. He feels it. Cory and I also are filled with gratitude for your continued love and support. Raymond says he is grateful for every breath. He will never take his breath for granted.

The adrenaline I’ve been operating from is dissipating. I am tired. I’m headed for a nap. Hold your loved ones close to you. Take not one single moment for granted for in the blink of an eye life is changed forever.

Be safe! Use precautions. Distance. Go out only if you really need to. We Love each and everyone of you. Thank you for loving us so profoundly.

Our journey with coronavirus

I hope I can get this posted without any problems. I had it all typed out and when I went to post an error showed up and I’ve lost the whole thing. So I’m going to do my best to try and re-create it from memory.

First of all, thank you thank you thank you! We are so grateful for your love, for your prayers and for your support. My heart is full today and I know Raymond’s is too. He is definitely feeling your love. He has put his phone on do not disturb as it is very challenging for him to speak right now. He is trying to maximize his time laying prone. That makes it difficult for him to manage his phone. I will be posting updates on a daily basis. Hopefully a couple of times a day barring any unforeseen technical glitches.

I FaceTimed with Ray early this morning. After a minute or so he became fatigued from the effort. I told him to stop trying to talk that I would just sit quietly with him. I asked him if he would like a healing meditation and he gave me a thumbs up. I want to share this meditation. Raymond shared with me that he saw oceans of waves coming over him. I chose this metaphor for his meditation.

Allow yourself to settle in to your bed. Allow yourself to just be present for yourself. Let your breath settle. Allow your anxiety to lift off. Just feel your body receiving the love in the form of prayer that is coming your way right now from all the people who love you so very much. You need to do nothing at all but receive.

Take a breath and feel yourself dropping into your heart. Your heart knows. Your heart knows exactly what you need to be right here right now. Breathing into your heart allowing those waves of love to fill your heart. Allow those waves of love to wash over you inside and out. And as you focus on your heart give thanks to all the love that is being radiated to you from all over this country and even a couple of foreign countries where we have friends.

Give thanks to the medical personnel that are taking such good care of you. Give thanks to the staff of the hospital every department. Fill your heart with gratitude for all the blessings that are being heaped upon you in this moment.

Continue to breathe easily and allow those waves of love ,those ocean waves, gentle ocean waves, coming to you gently, powerfully. See those waves bathing your lungs and bathing your liver. See those incredible loving waves bathing all your organs.

See every cell in your body lit up with the love that is being sent to you in the form of prayer. See the nucleus of every cell lit up. See the cell membrane and cell memory lit up with this love. Love heals. Love transforms. See every structure of the body, the cells of every structure of the body lit up with this divine love. Everyone who loves you is calling on the divine source within them however they name it. So this healing comes from the source of all that is through us to you. this is divine love being channeled to you through our prayers and through our holding space for you.

Again just allowing those waves of divine love to cascade over you and through you. And now my love I ask you to envelop the coronavirus within you with this divine love. Allow this divine love to change the chemistry of this virus. Continue to envelop the virus with love and as you do so know that only love radiates from you. And that love radiating from you transforms those around you and those you think of. You don’t even have to say a word. As you continue allowing those waves to wash over you, see this divine love radiating out onto your floor to your other Covid companions and this love transmutes and transforms the frequency of this virus. in them because the have so many people praying for them too.

We connect to all those praying for all those people in all those hospitals all over the world that are healing from coronavirus. See that all of us who are engaged in loving you and sending you God’s love and light are also being healed and transformed by the very act of sending and praying for you. It heals in us our fears and anxieties. Raymond you are a warrior of love. You are so loved because you are so loving to others. Receive that love now that you so richly deserve. Allow yourself to heal from this place of love.

Use your energy for your healing. Use your energy to do the activities that you need to do to heal your body. Let go of using your energy to fight this disease. The fight is being done by the medicines and by the love and prayer that is flowing to you.You just rest. just rest in the knowledge that you are resting in the divine mercy and the divine grace. Know that Jesus and the divine mother, all the angels and the Saints are with you.

Allow yourself to drift off to sleep. May your sleep be restful, rejuvenating and replenishing.

That’s it folks. I ask you please to join us in our intention to heal through love. Even if it means pouring love into the coronavirus. I ask you to do this meditation as often as you like. I hope to record it at some point. I ask you to share. The more of us who are radiating the divine love that resides in us to those who are healing from coronavirus the more there is a possibility of change. My heart is full today. Raymond is safe. He is exactly where he needs to be to be getting the help that he requires. My Covid test was negative. We are still awaiting the results from Cory’s test. They post results at 9 AM and 6 PM.

Raymond's COVID Update: 10/23/20

This is the message I sent our family text thread.

Raymond is being moved as we speak from the ER to the 3rd floor Covid unit.

Dr Maidana-Paz his PCP called me this morning. She had his today labs. His liver enzymes are elevated. There is fresh inflammation in the lungs. His 02 is 40, his saturation is 80. Those are very low and concerning to her. His labs on Wednesday did not show these results.

He is on his third day of dexamethasone a steroid. She’s not sure whether he will get redemsevir (sp?). But maybe. Mtn View told me to call in about an hour when he is settled in. Dr. Paz said she would call me again this afternoon. Raymond is one of her shining patients. One of her few 70 year olds not on meds. Until now.

Cory and I just FaceTimed with him. He is very alert this morning cognitively but still mostly dozing as he calls it. He texted Ernesto, our gardener, to fix a leaking sprinkler. When he is awake he seems to be checking to make sure bills are paid etc. He is very open and vulnerable in a good way.

I FaceTimed him earlier and after he finished his business talk and apologizing if he was curt with me yesterday, (roid rage?)I asked him if I could just sit with him. I encouraged him to rest and just be with me. He really liked that. He saw some beautiful things during our quiet time. White with heart butterflies. The colors turquoise and blue and he saw himself sitting in a native ceremonial circle.

He wants me to share everything. I am updating on FB for our extended family and friends. Many are holding healing, drumming, meditation and prayer circles.

I am also recording our conversations. We love you. Cory and I thank you.

MORNING UPDATE: I WANT to write you an update. I keep typing sentences then backspacing to delete. Raymond wants me to write you an update.i asked his permission to share his personal business with you. He says they need to know. We all need to know. Raymond was hospitalized early this morning. He started out yesterday with a great morning, as has been his pattern, and a not so great afternoon and night. He kept increasing his oxygen yet his saturation level kept dropping. Please continue to hold him in your hearts. I am so very humbled by your love.

P.S. Cory and I are still waiting on our test results. NM is slammed right now with testing.
